Simple Damp Meter

This simple low cost damp meter is ideal for establishing that there is damp present and getting a comparison between two locations. It will indicate the presence of damp by illuminating LED’s the damper the surface the more LED that light up. The meter also has an audio tone. Can be used to detect presence of rising damp, water leaks and dampness of timber. Please note: This meter does not tell you the percentage of moisture content and should be used to establish the presence of damp only. The probes are fixed and non-replaceable small holes need to be drilled to detect rising damp. Uses 1 x 9 volt battery (not included).

Low Cost Damp Meter

This analogue damp meter provides a low cost solution for home and caravan owners/buyers looking for a simple low cost solution to detecting the presence of damp. This damp meter can be used to test; wood, plaster, brick and concrete.

Can be used to check that surfaces are dry before painting. An essential tool for general maintenance. This meter gives a % reading when used on wood and uses a reference scale for other materials. The 2-pin probe sensor is attached to the meter by a coiled wire.

Timber Moisture Meter

This instrument is a conductivity moisture meter. It has been designed for use in the timber industry. Eight calibration scales, enabling the user to take accurate moisture measurement in 150 wood species. Moisture measurements can be taken using the integral pin electrobes or using heavy duty moisture probe. Automatically Tempeature Corrected (ATC) Readings when used with the temperature probe.
